What is the application process?
Apply via our web portal to begin your application. You’ll have to complete a training module and pass a Demo Lesson. If you’ve passed everything you’ll sign a contract with us!
How long does the hiring process take?
On average it takes teachers 2 weeks from submitting their application to meeting their first student.
I’m not from North America, is that be a problem?
No! We accept teachers from all over the world regardless of which country you’re from. If you are a qualified, passionate teacher we’ll hire you!
Do I need a TEFL/TESOL certificate to work with YiYiEnglish?
Yes, all teachers must be certified to work with us, this can be TESOL/TEFL. Teaching certification is also accepted.
How do teachers get paid?
We use PayPal to pay teachers.
When do teacher get paid each month?
Teachers will be paid by the 15th of the following month.
How long is the Demo Lesson?
The Demo Lesson class takes about 10-15 minutes. The assigned lesson materials are for a 25-minute class, but you should pace the lesson out normally.
What are the minimum teaching hours?
We require teachers to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
